Hello.
Welcome, I am Kish - a BABCP‑accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and EMDR Practitioner with over 22 years of experience working in the NHS.
I offer a calm, collaborative space to explore your mental health and emotional wellbeing. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma or long-standing challenges; I can help you to find clarity and direction. Sessions are available online and face to face.
Alongside my private practice, I work within a busy specialist mental health service in London providing therapy, supervision, teaching, and service development.
My Practice.
CBT and schema therapy sits at the core of my clinical work. However I am an integrative psychotherapist so I draw on a range of NICE recommended, evidence‑based approaches, tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs, goals, and personal context. I am a qualified Mindfulness Teacher, EMDR Practitioner, and Clinical Supervisor, and I regularly supervise qualified therapists, trainee psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and therapists in training.
My clinical experience spans work with individuals, groups, and organisations. I have delivered numerous workshops and can provide bespoke sessions for employers. I have specialist expertise in trauma (including complex trauma) and menopause‑related psychological wellbeing. I work confidently with mild, moderate, severe, and enduring mental health difficulties, and my background includes both NHS and private‑sector experience, including work in the City of London.
Clients describe me as warm, insightful, compassionate, down to earth and collaborative. I bring a thoughtful, person‑centred approach to therapy, drawing on a wide range of psychological models to create an evidence based, idiosyncratic, responsive treatment plan for each person. My aim is to help clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward meaningful and lasting change.
